John Schneider, M.S.

Smiling middle-aged man in a dark suit and light blue shirt.

Mental Health Counselor--Registered Intern--Certified Telehealth Therapist

Change is an inevitable part of life. Sometimes it arrives through opportunities we eagerly pursue, and other times it comes through circumstances we never anticipated. Whether navigating career transitions, changes in relationships, retirement, family challenges, or shifts in personal identity, periods of change often bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional strain. While change can create opportunities for growth, it can also leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward.

John Schneider is passionate about helping individuals successfully navigate life's transitions while building resilience, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful personal growth. Drawing upon more than 30 years of leadership experience in Fortune 100 companies, successful startup organizations, and entrepreneurial ventures, along with his mental health training and life experience, John brings a unique blend of practical wisdom, professional insight, and compassionate support to the therapeutic process.

John believes that many of life's difficulties emerge during periods of transition, when the demands of change exceed the resources available to manage them. During these times, people may experience anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, stress, sleep difficulties, or find themselves relying on coping strategies that provide temporary relief but ultimately hinder long-term growth and well-being. Through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, John helps clients better understand their experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Known for his approachable and practical style, John creates an environment where clients feel heard, supported, and challenged to grow. He works collaboratively with individuals to identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop meaningful strategies that align with their values and goals.

Whether you are navigating a career transition, stepping into a new leadership role, preparing for retirement, adjusting to an empty nest, facing relationship challenges, rebuilding after divorce, or seeking greater purpose and fulfillment in your next season of life, John is committed to helping you successfully navigate the journey and emerge stronger on the other side.
