As a counselor, I value creating a safe space for healing through encouragement, providing the right tools and conversation as we walk together. Helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem or relationship issues overcome emotional barriers to live life to the fullest is a passion of mine! I have a diverse background that includes working with teens experiencing crisis pregnancies learn life skills and overcome family and relational issues. I’ve worked with individuals and families experiencing grief and loss in both hospice care as well as a Social Worker in a Trauma Center. Having previously served on staff at a local non-denominational church I am able to integrate faith into our counseling while respecting your faith journey. My approach is solution focused, strengths based, and includes use of CBT to help you change thought or behavior patterns and reduce stress or anxiety. I was born and raised in Florida. In my free time I love being outside, traveling, running or being in the kitchen learning something new. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University where I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies witha minor in Art History.
