My clinical passion is working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My clients tell me that my down-to-earth demeanor makes it easy to develop an effective therapeutic relationship with me. This is invaluable as research has shown the therapeutic relationship can account for as much as 85% of clinical change. I have 20 years of life experience in mindfulness and meditation and I combine this experience with an Internal Family Systems (IFS) theoretical approach. IFS therapy is an evidence-based approach that has been shown to be effective for treating individuals, couples, and families experiencing a variety of conditions and symptoms such as depression, anxiety, phobias, panic, and physical conditions, as well as improving general functioning and well-being. In therapy, I can help you understand how your thoughts can either increase or decrease suffering and provide you with the necessary tools to help significantly reduce feelings such as anxiety and depression. Additionally, these tools will increase your communication, assertiveness, and problem-solving skills within your personal and professional relationships as well as assist you in adjusting to new changes or stressors that may arise. I bring to therapy genuineness, creativity, and a sense of humor that makes it easy to connect and to feel safe to talk about difficult life experiences. My integrative, intuitive, and spiritual approach is also well-suited for working with individuals who desire to understand themselves on a deeper level.
